Parish Membership

We appreciate your interest in our parish family at Holy Trinity. Whether you have already made the decision to become a member or are merely open to that possibility, we are pleased God has led you to this point. It is our prayer that our Lord will guide you in your search for a Christ-centered church home.

Membership in the parish is accomplished simply by indicating your intention to join to our Priest-in-Charge. Newcomer’s Classes are offered on a regular basis for those new to the Christian Faith and/or Episcopal Church.
If you are already an Episcopalian, then we will ask for a Letter of Transfer from your former parish. If you are already baptized and a member of a different Christian denomination, you may begin preparation for either Confirmation or Reception by the Bishop. If you are new to the Christian Faith, then you may begin preparation for the Sacrament of Baptism.

A question people sometimes ask is: “What is the benefit of belonging to a church, anyway?” Simply, much the same benefit of belonging to any family. Specifically, it is the benefit of being held accountable for continued growth in the greatest love relationship ever – that between God and ourselves and between each other. Being lovingly encouraged to honor our Lord and Savior in our faith and life and to serve one another in Christ-like love, we experience the chief benefit of church membership.
