Sunday is traditionally when Episcopalians gather to worship. In most churches, the principal worship is the Holy Eucharist, also known as “The Lord’s Supper,” “Holy Communion,” or “The Mass.” In most Episcopal Churches, worship is accompanied by the singing of hymns, and in some churches, much of the service is also sung.
The Eucharist was instituted by Jesus Christ at the Last Supper and has been the principal service of the Church continuously since ancient time. By it, we share in the sacrament of Jesus’ Body and Blood, signs of the life which he freely offered for us on the Cross. Gathering weekly with one another to worship God, we receive his life and power, come to know and care for one another, and attend to the needs of God’s people by support, service and outreach to the community.

All baptized Christians are welcome to share the Holy Eucharist and receive Communion. Everyone is welcome to participate in the service. We want your worship with us to be as comfortable and meaningful as possible.
Eucharist Services come in two basic forms: Rite I and Rite II. To make it simple Rite I has all the thees and thous, and little or no music. Rite II is composed of more modern language, with lots of hymns.
